I find many people, especially my parents, asking me what they can do to help, and most often I tell them nothing because colitis is kind of a personal struggle, you know? And I think that&#039;s frustrating for people to hear because, while emotional and intangible support is necessary, people would rather do something tangible and some days there&#039;s nothing tangible to do.
