He really puts into words for me the reality of what I struggle with every day lately. As I write this, I am moved to tears, overwhelmed by sadness, anger, and disappointment. I so goddamned don't want to be sick! I just want to go about my blissful life being unaware of others who are sick as well. But this UC has brought me to my knees in humility. I have had to bite the bullet of my pride and accept this ugly thing within me as a part of me. And in this journey I have come to understand to be more compassionate, to empathize with others struggling as well. Now, I am more in touch with people around me. And still each day I have to make myself rise up from the bed and do that which I have to do. I make myself becuase nobody else will.

Thank you for sharing this book.
